Sample interview questions
How would you create a multi-year enablement strategy that is directly tied to GTM outcomes?

I would begin by aligning with GTM leadership on growth priorities, segment strategy, capability gaps, and baseline metrics such as ramp time, win rate, pipeline conversion, and attainment. I would translate these into a phased roadmap covering onboarding, manager coaching, messaging, content governance, and technology, with quarterly outcome measures and regular program reviews.

Describe your approach to enabling sellers to work effectively with technical buyers.

I would develop persona-based plays that combine customer problems, technical context, business value, discovery questions, objections, proof points, and competitive positioning. I would validate the material with solution engineers and product leaders, then reinforce it through workshops, call coaching, certification, and deal-based application.

How do you evaluate whether an enablement program is working?

I use both leading and lagging indicators. Leading indicators include completion, certification quality, learner confidence, manager adoption, and content usage; lagging indicators include ramp duration, conversion, win rate, deal velocity, retention, and quota attainment. I compare performance against defined baselines and retire or revise programs that do not demonstrate meaningful impact.

How would you modernize an enablement technology stack without creating additional friction for the field?

I would first map current seller and manager workflows, identify duplicate tools and content gaps, and prioritize integrations that reduce context switching. The rollout would use clear governance, pilot groups, role-specific training, adoption metrics, and feedback loops so that each platform improves execution rather than becoming another destination to manage.

What is your approach to leading a global enablement team through a fast-growth period?

I set a clear operating model with shared priorities, defined ownership, consistent planning cadences, and measurable success criteria. I invest in coaching leaders, maintain close feedback channels with regional GTM teams, and balance global consistency with local adaptations needed for segments, buyer personas, and market realities.
