Sample interview questions
I would begin by defining the target user segments, regulatory and market constraints, and baseline metrics such as funded accounts, AUM, trading volume, liquidity, retention, and revenue. I would prioritize initiatives by expected impact, operational complexity, compliance dependencies, and time to value, then establish a delivery cadence with clear owners and measurable success criteria.
I would identify the end-to-end operating model, including onboarding, order and settlement flows, reconciliation, exception handling, customer-support pathways, compliance controls, reporting, and incident escalation. I would turn these requirements into documented SOPs, runbooks, ownership matrices, and testable launch criteria before go-live.
I would combine blockchain activity, wallet behavior, transaction patterns, liquidity metrics, and protocol data with off-chain trading, account, support, campaign, and conversion data. This creates a fuller view of acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and friction points while allowing trends to be segmented by user cohort and product behavior.
I would establish the integration scope, commercial and technical dependencies, success metrics, milestones, risk register, and communication cadence at the outset. I would maintain a shared action log, provide regular status updates, escalate blockers early, and validate readiness through testing and documented sign-off from all relevant teams.
I would assess the risk's user, financial, regulatory, and operational impact with the appropriate subject-matter experts. If it affects a critical control or customer outcome, I would recommend delaying or limiting the launch, document the mitigation plan, retest the fix, and ensure stakeholders agree on explicit go/no-go criteria.
