Sample interview questions
I would segment target accounts by protocol type, funding stage, upcoming launches, and security triggers such as code releases or new chain deployments. I would combine ecosystem research, warm introductions through investors and partners, and tailored outbound messaging tied to each project's specific risk profile.
I would position an audit as a risk-reduction and trust-building investment rather than a technical checklist. I would connect it to protecting user funds, improving readiness for exchange listings or fundraising, and identifying high-impact vulnerabilities before deployment.
I establish the buyer's priorities, decision process, timeline, and technical scope early. Then I coordinate the right internal experts, maintain clear next steps after every meeting, handle objections with relevant evidence, and keep commercial and legal processes moving toward a mutually agreed close date.
I would identify partners whose portfolio companies or members have recurring security needs and create a clear mutual-value proposition. This could include referral workflows, educational sessions, co-marketing, and structured introductions, followed by regular reporting on pipeline and outcomes.
I follow protocol launches, governance discussions, security incident reports, funding activity, and developer communities. I turn those observations into account hypotheses and share concise market feedback with internal sales and security teams so outreach and offerings remain relevant.
