Sample interview questions
I use a risk-based review framework that prioritizes claim substantiation, disclosures, audience sensitivity, and channel-specific requirements. I provide clear, actionable edits and distinguish between must-fix legal risks and lower-risk recommendations so teams can move quickly.
I would first clarify the underlying business objective and the specific legal concern. Then I would propose compliant alternatives that preserve the intended message, document the decision, and escalate only when the residual risk or policy interpretation requires senior direction.
The intake should capture the asset type, channel, target audience, product, claims, substantiation sources, required launch date, and prior approvals. It should also establish service levels, risk triage, ownership, approval records, and a feedback loop for recurring issues.
I partner with legal to understand the rule change, assess affected products and channels, and translate the implications into concise playbooks, checklists, and examples. I would also train relevant teams and track adoption through review trends.
In a prior review, I would flag a claim whose wording implied a guaranteed outcome without sufficient qualification. I would work with the content owner to revise the language, add appropriate context where needed, and record the example in guidance to prevent repeat issues.
