Sample interview questions
I would begin by validating account hierarchy, ownership rules, capacity assumptions, and coverage gaps. I would then automate distribution criteria where possible, monitor outcomes through dashboards, and conduct regular reviews with sales leadership to rebalance territories as business needs change.
I would identify the system of record for each field, inspect sync logic and field mappings, and review recent import or automation activity. After resolving the root cause, I would correct affected records in bulk where appropriate and add validation rules, monitoring, or documentation to prevent recurrence.
I would include territory coverage, AE capacity, account assignment status, account penetration, BDR activity and productivity, pipeline conversion indicators, and regional performance trends. The dashboard should provide both an executive summary and drill-down views that support operational decisions.
I establish clear ownership, field definitions, duplicate-management procedures, validation rules, and recurring audit routines. I also track scorecards for completeness, accuracy, and timeliness, then prioritize fixes based on their impact on routing, reporting, and seller productivity.
I would create shared definitions for accounts, territories, capacity, and performance metrics, then use recurring business reviews to surface decisions and dependencies. I would document workflow changes, communicate operational impacts early, and ensure reporting provides a consistent view for all stakeholders.
