Sample interview questions
How would you use Salesforce data to evaluate whether an escalation campaign was effective?

I would define the campaign objective and baseline metrics first, such as resolution time, escalation volume, partner response rate, adoption activity, and post-resolution satisfaction. I would build reporting by customer, geography, escalation category, and time period, then compare outcomes against the baseline and identify recurring blockers for operational follow-up.

Describe how you would create a consistent escalation process across Customer Success, Sales, and Implementation.

I would map the current workflow with representatives from each team, identify handoff gaps and decision points, and document clear ownership, service expectations, and escalation criteria. I would then publish a practical SOP and playbook, train stakeholders, and use recurring review meetings and reporting to measure compliance and refine the process.

How do you build trust with community-based organizations and government stakeholders?

I begin by understanding each organization’s mission, constraints, and definition of success. I communicate transparently, follow through on commitments, share useful data and context, and create structured opportunities to resolve issues collaboratively rather than treating partners as transactional contacts.

What would you do if a high-priority customer escalation involved several teams with competing priorities?

I would establish the customer impact, required outcome, accountable owners, and an immediate communication cadence. I would document actions and deadlines in a shared tracker, elevate unresolved decisions to the appropriate leaders, and keep the customer-facing team informed with clear, realistic updates until the issue is resolved.

How would you improve adoption for a customer that is not engaging with its community network?

I would review adoption and network-health data, speak with the customer and relevant partners to understand barriers, and segment the problem into process, training, workflow, or relationship issues. Based on those findings, I would propose a focused engagement plan with measurable actions, enablement resources, and regular progress reviews.
