About the role & team:
We’re seeking a diligent Corporate Tax Manager to manage key aspects of our tax compliance and reporting. In this role, you will support our U.S. federal and state income tax compliance, drive the end-to-end process for intercompany transfer pricing calculations, and play a crucial part in the quarterly and annual tax provision process. You will work under the general guidance of the Director of Tax and collaborate with teams across Finance, Legal, and Accounting, as well as external advisors. This position is ideal for a tax professional with broad experience who can apply advanced knowledge to solve complex issues, work independently on familiar tasks, and strengthen the team’s efforts.
If you have extensive experience in managing and performing corporate tax compliance, a strong grasp of US tax laws, and exceptional problem-solving skills, we would be excited to connect with you!
Responsibilities:
US Tax Compliance support
- Coordinate U.S. federal and state income tax compliance activities, working closely with third-party providers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate filings
- Review and reconcile compliance outputs to tax provision calculations to ensure consistency in financial reporting
Transfer Pricing (TP)
- Support annual transfer pricing calculations, including coordination with external advisors and preparation of required supporting documentation
- Ensure TP inputs are aligned across provision, compliance, and financial reporting, identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolution with relevant stakeholders
Provision Support
- Prepare and review provision schedules supporting quarterly and annual close processes
- Support the Director by preparing provision analyses and responding to auditor inquiries related to tax provision
Continuous Improvement and Projects:
- Support cross-functional tax projects such as process improvements, system implementations, audit readiness, and policy rollouts
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across tax workflows by identifying inefficiencies, enhancing documentation quality, and improving reporting accuracy and team execution
- Collaborate with senior tax leaders to translate business changes into required tax process updates, modeling assumptions, and supporting analyses
- Assist in preparing documentation for tax audits, inquiries, and internal control testing
- Manage day-to-day tax department operations including but not limited to calendar tracking, documentation workflows, and coordination of internal and external resources
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in corporate tax, tax operations, financial analysis, or related fields
- Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience supporting global compliance processes, transfer pricing, tax provision cycles, and audits
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with precision and accountability
- Familiarity with tax control frameworks, documentation standards, and reporting requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize technical details for non-tax stakeholders
- Experience with tax provision software or ERP systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
- CPA, MST, or equivalent certification a plus

Sample interview questions
I establish a documented reconciliation between return positions and provision workpapers, investigate book-to-tax and timing differences, and involve relevant owners early to resolve variances. I retain clear support for adjustments and ensure conclusions are reflected consistently in the close and filing processes.
I have coordinated data collection, validated intercompany inputs, worked with external advisers on methodologies and calculations, and prepared supporting documentation. I focus on aligning transfer-pricing results across compliance, provision, and financial-reporting workstreams.
I use a detailed close calendar with dependencies, owners, review dates, and escalation points. I prioritize high-risk items, communicate status regularly, and build in time for quality review and resolution of late-breaking issues.
I would first confirm the technical basis and factual support for the position, then provide a concise workpaper package that explains the methodology, assumptions, calculations, and controls. If an issue requires further analysis, I would coordinate promptly with internal stakeholders and advisers while maintaining a clear audit trail.
I would assess recurring manual reconciliations, unclear ownership, and inconsistent documentation first. A practical priority would be standardizing source-data templates, review checklists, and calendar controls so that provision, compliance, and transfer-pricing inputs are more reliable and reusable.
