A bit more about this role:

As a key contributor to Devoted Health’s overall accounting team, the Senior Accountant will play an important role contributing to the Controller’s organization and advancing the company’s monthly accounting close operations. Primary responsibilities include performing monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, and flux analysis, among others. This role will also be an integral to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, consistency and transparency of accounting and financial reporting for our overall accounting function.

Responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions in the general ledger.
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Support monthly consolidated income statement and balance sheet flux analysis for management reporting.
• Aid in coordinating and responding to testing by auditors.
• Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, and benchmarks.
• Work with other finance and business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests.
• Support the company’s internal control maturation.
• Manage or support ad-hoc department projects and initiatives as necessary.

Desired skills and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business field
• CPA
• 5 to 8 years of experience in accounting
• Big 5 Public accounting or similar experience preferred, public company experience a plus
• Knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Significant experience working with multiple legal entities preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Highly self-motivated and self-directed
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial reporting
• NetSuite and/or Floqast experience a plus
• Experience in Sarbanes-Oxley control execution/documentation
• Team player with ability to work with varying levels of experience and knowledge and gain cooperation/consensus to achieve goals.

Salary Range:  $89,300 – $105,900 per year
