I am a Financial Crime and technology transformation professional with more than 12 years of experience in banking, digital systems, and regulated environments. I combine business analysis, data, process improvement, and end-to-end delivery expertise to deliver practical and compliant solutions.
I spent six years leading AML and Financial Crime operations at Absa Bank Mozambique, covering onboarding, customer refresh, screening, monitoring, and offboarding. I have led teams, strengthened customer due diligence controls, and translated regulatory and policy requirements into operational workflows and systems requirements.
I use SQL for data reconciliation, validation, reporting assurance, and control-gap identification. My work has included designing reconciliation solutions for PEP and high-risk customer populations, improving compliance pass rates, and reducing customer identification gaps.
I currently lead requirements, backlog prioritisation, functional delivery, testing, and stakeholder coordination for a national point-of-care health information system. I work closely with developers, business analysts, health-sector users, government stakeholders, and international donors.
I hold an MSc in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and have practical Python experience in supervised and reinforcement learning. I am motivated by roles where data, technology, process design, and leadership can improve service delivery and control effectiveness.
