About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Connecticut School of Law. I am admitted to the State Bar of Maryland and am seeking admission to the DC Bar. Throughout law school, I worked as a research assistant to two professors. In those roles, I worked independently to research and draft memoranda relating to the policing of individuals with disabilities and relating to hate crimes in Connecticut in support of the Connecticut Hate Crimes Advisory Council.

I gained civil litigation experience working as a law clerk for a personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm. I worked directly with attorneys to draft complaints and other court documents, meet with clients, and complete research projects related to active cases. I am very comfortable juggling multiple time-sensitive projects and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Additionally, I have gained advocacy and research experience working as a legal intern for the American Civil Liberties Union. As a legal intern for the National Political Advocacy Department’s Voting Rights Team, I worked directly with attorneys and policy analysts to develop advocacy strategies and draft persuasive documents, as well as perform research relating to election law cases and developing legislation at the federal and state level.

Finally, I am a reliable, efficient, and dedicated employee with substantial experience in customer service and the event production field, working in high stress situations and supervising large groups of crew members. I have a strong work ethic, professionalism and ability to remain calm under pressure
