About Me
I have 32 years of experience in various roles within a wholesale company in the optics industry, making me a professional with a broad background. As a director, I have been responsible for determining the long-term policy of the company or companies. In this role, product development, purchasing, and organizational development have been among my main tasks. The commercial aspect and communication with customers, suppliers, and colleagues are facets that make my daily work enjoyable.
Currently, I am working at Eyescapade B.V., a wholesale company selling through specialized distributors, where I develop and execute the mission, vision, and strategy. I determine the course and long-term policy, plan marketing activities, and focus on product development based on industry trends. I also search for and evaluate new products and suppliers and handle product purchasing.
Previously, I held various positions at Ofar B.V. / Alex Brillenmode B.V., including CEO and DGA, where I contributed to business strategy development, logistics reorganization, marketing planning and execution, financial monitoring, team management, product development, assortment management, and supplier selection.
Earlier in my career, I worked as an Operational Manager & Buyer, Corporate Recruiter, Account Manager, and Branch Manager, gaining experience in personnel management, relationship management, contract negotiations, recruitment, acquisition, coaching, and marketing strategy development.
