About

Professional summary

I am an infrastructure and platform engineering leader with seven years of experience, progressing from hands-on systems, storage, and network engineering into leading large-scale infrastructure and data platform organizations.

I currently lead infrastructure operations and platform strategy, managing DevOps, DevSecOps, system administration, network infrastructure, and technical support teams. I have experience defining target architectures, operational roadmaps, service-management processes, and ownership boundaries for product engineering organizations.

I have built and managed a 52-person Infrastructure & Data Platform department supporting multiple business units, more than 1,500 physical servers, 6,500 virtual machines, and approximately 41,000 support tickets annually. I am experienced in M&A operational continuity, SLA management, incident response, mentoring, vendor coordination, and budget optimization.

My technical background includes Kubernetes, GitOps, infrastructure as code, PostgreSQL/Patroni, ClickHouse, Kafka, observability platforms, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD. I combine engineering depth with practical leadership to improve provisioning speed, platform reliability, security, and operational efficiency.

I have delivered DevSecOps practices, disaster-recovery approaches, centralized secrets management, SIEM and WAF baselines, and AI/LLM infrastructure for internal engineering and analytics teams. I am open to remote opportunities and relocation.

Head of Infrastructure Operations Department Smartseeds

I own IT strategy and the platform and infrastructure roadmap for a digital freight and logistics marketplace. I lead nine direct reports across DevOps, DevSecOps, system administration, network infrastructure, and technical support for two offices and one functional site, while defining target architecture and responsibility boundaries with product engineering teams.

I reduced infrastructure costs by 17% through compute right-sizing and Yandex Cloud capacity optimization. I introduced centralized secrets management with HashiCorp Vault, unified observability using OpenSearch, Prometheus, and Grafana, implemented Grafana OnCall, WAF, SIEM, and GitLab-based SAST/SCA practices, and designed disaster-recovery procedures.

I also built self-hosted AI/LLM infrastructure with GPU-backed local models, external-provider routing, vector storage, agent workflows, and a unified chat interface. Additionally, I established a Naumen service desk, formal post-incident reviews, and infrastructure support for a sister company's Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Kafka, ArgoCD, and GitLab environment.

Head of Product Infrastructure Support Department Ecom.tech

I built an Infrastructure & Data Platform department from the ground up to 52 engineers across Infrastructure Support, Data Platform Support, and Atlassian Support teams. The organization supported three business units and approximately 41,000 tickets per year while maintaining operational continuity through three M&A integrations.

I reduced base infrastructure provisioning time by two times by redesigning intake and fulfillment workflows. I designed end-to-end service processes in Jira Service Desk, including SLA-based routing, reporting, escalation paths, and Telegram-based status notifications.

I launched a self-service catalog containing more than 300 infrastructure and data-platform services, deployed MDM for warehouse and dark-store devices, and automated reporting through Power BI and Jira. I also established mentoring and regular one-to-one processes and served as an escalation point for incidents involving PostgreSQL/Patroni, Greenplum, ClickHouse, and Kubernetes.

Product Infrastructure Support Engineer Ecom.tech

I administered PostgreSQL/Patroni, Kubernetes, Proxmox, and GitLab environments for product infrastructure teams.

I built monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Zabbix, automated infrastructure provisioning, and supported new-hire onboarding processes.

IT Support Engineer (2nd Line) BUYK

I provided second-line support for internal IT systems and the production platform during rapid expansion to 35 dark stores in New York and Chicago.

My responsibilities included overnight incident intake and triage, monitoring, bridge calls, engineering evidence gathering, bug reporting, user support, VPN and Active Directory administration, and account-provisioning automation.

System Engineer iCore (Integration Core)

I administered enterprise SAN and storage arrays from Hitachi, IBM, and HPE, including LUN management, RAID, zoning, and server hardware support for corporate clients.

I performed on-site data-center work, including rack-and-stack installations and hardware component replacement, and managed vendor support cases and spare-parts logistics. I completed vendor training in Hitachi VSP Midrange installation, Hitachi Ops Center administration, Storage Concepts, and Huawei HCIA.

System Engineer Step Logic

I deployed and maintained corporate servers, networks, and structured cabling infrastructure for enterprise clients.

I worked with Cisco and MikroTik networking equipment and participated in server-room and data-center build-outs, coordinating directly with customers and vendors.
