The University of Colorado (CU) is a premier public research university system in Colorado, founded in 1876, five months before Colorado achieved statehood. With four campuses located in Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, and the Anschutz Medical Campus, CU serves a diverse population and a wide range of academic disciplines.
