The Executive Assistant role is one that I am very familiar with, as I have worked as an executive assistant for busy owners, CFOs and CEOs for nearly 10 years. Iβve completed and prioritized urgent and important tasks such as drafting company-wide emails, scheduling in-person and virtual meetings, data entry for CRMs, coordinated travel and pretty much anything an executive has asked of me. I have a βfigure it outβ attitude which allows me to be flexible and in a state of constant learning.
Starting at Roofsimple as a Virtual Executive Assistant, I provided essential support to the CEO, CFO and sales team by handling administrative tasks, sales coordination and CRM maintenance. I was promoted by the CEO to manage payroll and all human resources tasks, where I created an onboarding system, prepared and completed audits and assisted with the establishment of benefits including a company 401(k) and health plan. Currently, I am the sole payroll administrator – reviewing and approving timesheets, managing PTO, payroll and break compliance, managing audits and reports and running weekly payroll for W2 and 1099 payments.
Direct support for eight financial advisors. Daily tasks included workflow management, client
onboarding, rapport building with clients and custodian liaisons. I coordinated three Broker-
dealer transitions and as part of the compliance team I prepared for and performed mock audits
to ensure compliance with SEC and FINRA regulations. As the senior Client Service Associate, I
was responsible for my Client Service team of four in making sure tasks are completed on time
and in good order. I also provided training for new team members and created and modified
operating procedures.
Multiple contracts consisted of data entry, online research, scheduling, business plan writing and task
management for several individuals, thriving small businesses and busy working professionals. All projects
were completed on time, within budget restrictions.
Duties and responsibilities were varied in this high-volume discount brokerage. As a Registered
Representative I handled inbound calls and client account review. I assisted clients with document requests,
general inquiries, facilitated registered transactions, verified order executions, etc. – all in a timely, accurate
fashion. Completed related compliance, administrative and clerical tasks as part of my daily responsibilities.
