My name is RaphaΓ«l Mistler, and I am a freelance 3D character artist. I have a strong educational background in fine arts and game art, having studied literature and visual arts, followed by specialized degrees in game art and 3D sculpting. My passion lies in character 3D modeling, which I chose to specialize in during my studies. I have experience working remotely and am equipped with the necessary licenses and software skills to handle projects from sculpting to real-time rendering.
I began my career working on various projects during my Masterβs degree at Universal Arts School, where I learned the PBR process and created characters in multiple styles, including stylized, realistic, semi-realistic, and creatures. Since February 2023, I have been working as a freelance 3D artist, collaborating with companies such as Allcorrect Games, Edralon, and Devoted Studios on different contracts.
In addition to my professional work, I am actively developing a French game project called Vermin and continuously work on personal 3D projects to expand my portfolio. I am eager to learn new techniques and processes to improve my craft and deliver the best results for my characters.
I am looking for both freelance contracts and full-time employment opportunities. I am comfortable working remotely and thrive in environments that encourage creativity and innovation. My fluency in English and native proficiency in French allow me to communicate effectively in diverse teams.
Outside of work, I have a wide range of interests including comic books, movies, animation, sports such as judo and horseback riding, retrogaming, travel, and art. These interests inspire my creativity and contribute to my artistic vision.
