System Administrator

I am an experienced system administrator specialized in virtualization management with a solid knowledge of Windows administration. I am capable of learning new technologies fairly quickly while working and am used to regular communication with different teams during incident responses. My work experience includes managing VMware systems, responding to monitoring tickets, extending storage, and upgrading systems based on customer requests. I coordinate with OS teams to resolve server-side issues and have some experience working with hybrid cloud IaaS technology. Occasionally, I monitor Hyper-V systems to ensure virtual machines run properly and collaborate with onsite engineers during outages. Currently, I manage storage and disk usage based on monitoring alerts or customer requests, handle surface-level Active Directory tasks such as managing passwords and resolving locked account issues, and investigate OS events, warnings, and errors. I am proficient in Windows administration, virtualization management, performance tuning, user support, and incident response. I am fluent in Czech and have advanced proficiency in English. Outside of work, I enjoy sports such as football, hiking, and MMA, attending music festivals, gaming, knowledge trivia, and strategic games.
