English Teacher

I am Safonova Alena Gennadievna, an experienced English teacher and literary critic with a Bachelor’s degree from Slavic University in Chisinau city. Over the years, I have developed a strong passion for teaching and translation, which has allowed me to work effectively with diverse groups of students and professionals. My journey began with freelance translation work for a charitable foundation in Tiraspol, where I supported missionary groups and orphanages by providing accurate translations and preparing reports in English.

Since 2020, I have been teaching English at the online school Skyeng, where I specialize in educating children, teenagers, and adults. I pride myself on my ability to find an individual approach to each student, especially those who face learning difficulties. My teaching style is flexible and adaptive, ensuring that every learner can progress at their own pace.

I am fluent in English and have a working knowledge of Spanish and Romanian at an A2 level. Having lived and studied in the USA, I bring cultural awareness and practical language skills to my teaching. My personal qualities include benevolence, openness, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.

I am committed to continuous learning and professional development, always seeking new methods to enhance my teaching effectiveness. My experience in translation and education has equipped me with strong communication skills and the ability to prepare detailed reports and educational materials.
