Senior Software Engineer

I am a Senior Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience delivering production-grade iOS applications and backend systems. Throughout my career, I have spent 6 years at a leading mobile studio, HIPO, where I contributed to apps used by hundreds of thousands of users. Since 2021, I have been working independently, building automation tooling, AI-powered platforms, and algorithmic trading systems.

I have a strong track record working with Swift and SwiftUI, Python, REST APIs, and clean architecture principles. I am comfortable owning the full stack, from native mobile development to cloud-deployed microservices. My experience includes leading iOS development projects, integrating advanced camera features with ARKit and AVFoundation, and building real-time location detection and video profile features.

I am passionate about quality and testing, having championed unit and UI testing practices using XCTest and XCUITest to improve team-wide test coverage and reduce regression cycles. I also enjoy sharing knowledge through technical blog posts, which have gained recognition and engagement in the developer community.

My technical expertise spans ARKit, AVFoundation, CoreML, CoreLocation, Firebase, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager, and CI/CD tools like Bitrise. I have developed and published public web scraping microservices using Python, Crawlee, and Playwright on the Apify Store, targeting financial data extraction.

In addition, I have built macOS tools using SwiftUI, engineered platforms for tax compliance automation, and developed AI-powered job aggregators integrating semantic AI for resume matching. I have also designed and deployed trading infrastructure supporting multiple brokers and real-time strategy execution.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a software engineer at BTdays and Figenso, focusing on cross-platform development with Java, PHP, C#, Android, and ASP.NET, delivering multiple projects. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Yeditepe University in Istanbul.
