Full Stack Developer

I am Mauricio Chamorro, a Full Stack Developer with over 11 years of experience implementing software solutions across various industries including Retail, Livestock, Aquaculture, raw material processing, and Banking-Finance. I have worked extensively with technologies such as Spring Boot, Angular, Laravel, .Net, and Yii2, and I also possess knowledge of AWS cloud services. I consider myself a dynamic, proactive, and diligent person, always aiming to grow professionally by participating in scalable cloud solutions.

Currently, I work as a Development Specialist and Backup Solution expert at PPM, where I support the Loyalty area by ensuring new implementations integrate correctly into operational workflows, preventing rework through quality controls, testing, and code reviews. I manage pull requests and deployments using Azure and Bitbucket, operate AWS infrastructure components like S3, ECS, SQS, SNS, and CloudWatch, and focus on monitoring, troubleshooting, and log analysis. I also improve test coverage and optimize processes applying Clean Code principles and hexagonal architecture.

Previously, I served as a Technical Leader at Libelula Soft, where I introduced hexagonal architecture to create a hybrid structure between current processes and new requirements, reducing development time, maintenance, and complexity. I pioneered the use of Docker for multiplatform development, fostering a modernization culture to reduce runtime configuration time. I contributed to maintenance and development in retail and financial verticals, identifying security and usability gaps.

I have also worked on multiple full stack development roles at PPM, Bluesensor, El Mayorista, and Capsule Soft, delivering projects ranging from retail core platform enhancements, IoT software improvements for aquaculture, client referral pyramid projects, mini e-commerce pages, real-time tracking and delivery reporting, and mobile apps for participatory economy.

In addition to my professional experience, I am engaged in freelance projects such as developing an AI-based health platform with scalable backend architecture, natural language medical document processing, and secure data handling. I am passionate about leveraging modern technologies and cloud platforms to build efficient, scalable, and user-friendly applications.

My technical skills span advanced programming languages like PHP, JavaScript, Java, and C#, with basic knowledge of Python and C++. I am proficient in frameworks including Yii2, Angular, .NET, and have intermediate experience with Spring Boot, Ionic, and Laravel. I am familiar with cloud and DevOps tools such as AWS, Azure, Bitbucket, and GitLab, and databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. I follow agile methodologies, particularly Scrum, and continuously seek certifications to enhance my expertise.
