High School Student

I am a motivated high school student seeking a part-time position to gain valuable work experience. I am enthusiastic about contributing to a challenging and employee-valuing job where I can enhance my existing skills, broaden my social abilities, and acquire new competencies.

I have experience mentoring and guiding young students aged 5–14 through a game-based coding curriculum, introducing foundational coding logic and computer science concepts. I enjoy translating technical concepts into fun, digestible lessons tailored to different learning speeds and student needs.

I am committed to maintaining an engaging, safe, and positive environment to build confidence, logic, and problem-solving skills in others. I communicate effectively with parents to provide constructive updates on their child’s progress and achievements.

In addition to teaching, I have experience babysitting, ensuring the safety and well-being of children by following established routines and guidelines. I develop and implement engaging activities such as games, arts and crafts, and storytelling to keep children entertained and stimulated.

I am a quick learner with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to keep learning. I work well in teams and adapt quickly to new situations. I am also actively involved in volunteer work, contributing to community programs and nonprofit organizations, which has helped me develop organizational and interpersonal skills.

I have completed certifications including the Young Worker Readiness course and St John’s Ambulance babysitting and home alone courses. My hobbies include songwriting, singing, drawing, and cooking, which help me maintain a creative and balanced lifestyle.

I am eager to bring my enthusiasm, dedication, and growing skill set to a part-time role where I can continue to learn and contribute positively.
