I first began my career in Jackson Mississippi at a low-income charter school where I was a 7th grade ELA teacher. Of course, as most of us know teachers can wear many hats. I took on that role effortlessly, managing multiple classrooms, sometimes across multiple grade levels. Collecting data to determine the next routes to take for growth. Cross collaborated with other teams. Building relationships with coworkers, parents, and students. Holding conferences and meetings with both parents and administration.
I left the classroom because I wanted to help people in other ways and grow and expand my talents within a company. With my most recent role I assisted over 150 clients, and I was able to work closely with the sales team, operations team, and directors to ensure that the client received the services that we guaranteed. I held monthly meetings to discuss sentiments, metrics, and retention with the client and through those conversations I was able to put retention plans in place to ensure that sales had what they needed to support the client on their end. I used CRM platforms like Salesforce and looker to have a more date driven approach to better understand the needs of the clients and through that data Iβd collaborate with the appropriate team to best assist the client. In this role I conducted meetings monthly and quarterly with clients to discuss sentiments and metrics to ensure that the company is still valued.
