Our client, a dynamic agency with a strong focus on B2B industrial markets, particularly in the marine and sport fishing sectors,​​​​​​​ is looking for a highly skilled Social Media Specialist to join their team!

As a Social Media Specialist, you will lead social media efforts, manage projects, and drive the team’s creative vision forward. You’ll play a key role in shaping our client’s social media strategy, enhancing brand presence, and fostering community engagement across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute innovative social media strategies across platforms like LinkedIn (focused on industrial markets), Facebook, and Instagram (focused on B2C employee community building).
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of various projects, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate heavily with other team members to ensure seamless operations and project success.
  • Guide, mentor, and lead a team member hired last year, ensuring they execute the vision effectively.
  • Provide social media expertise and strategic guidance.
  • Utilize photography, video editing (Adobe Suite), and graphic design skills to create compelling and engaging content.
  • Repurpose existing materials and employ guerilla marketing tactics to maximize impact with limited resources.
  • Continuously monitor social media performance, analyze metrics, and provide actionable recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
  • Manage and optimize ad campaigns across various platforms. Experience with other ad forms is a plus but not required.
  • Leverage B2B industrial experience, particularly within the marine and sport fishing sectors, to create relevant and impactful campaigns.
  • Assist in developing and refining internal processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 10 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors
  • Proven experience in social media management and project management, particularly within B2B industrial markets.
  • Previous experience leading a team and hiring personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and community building.
  • Photography and video editing skills, with proficiency in the Adobe Suite.
  • Experience with guerilla marketing and the ability to work with limited resources.
  • Background in marine or sport fishing industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% if located in the Gulf area.

Compensation Range: $60 – 65 per hour
