Actively Hiring

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Engineering Manager to lead our AI Operational Assistants (AIOA) team. This team builds groundbreaking AI-driven tools that empower healthcare providers to automate workflows, optimize operations, and improve patient outcomes.

As an Engineering Manager on our AIOA team, you will drive technical excellence, mentor a talented team of engineers, and ensure seamless collaboration across departments. You will play a pivotal role in building innovative AI solutions that address complex operational challenges in healthcare while fostering a high-performing and collaborative engineering culture.

This is a high-impact role that combines technical leadership with strategic oversight, working at the intersection of AI innovation and healthcare transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
    • Recruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent.
    • Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews to support growth and development.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven products and features for the AIOA team.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives.
    • Drive agile processes and establish best practices for engineering workflows.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Collaborate with Product Management, Data Science, and Design teams to define technical requirements and product roadmaps.
    • Guide the team in architecture and systems design to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
    • Stay up-to-date with emerging AI/ML technologies and assess their applicability to our products.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
    • Act as a bridge between engineering and other stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical deliverables.
    • Communicate project progress, challenges, and successes to executives and cross-functional teams.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in software engineering with 2+ years in an engineering management or technical leadership role.
  • Strong technical expertise in modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Node, or similar) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Expertise in cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred)
  • Experience delivering AI, machine learning, or data-driven products in a production environment.
  • Solid understanding of software development best practices, including CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and alignment.
  • Proven track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on coding contribution up-to 25%.

It’s a Plus if You Have…

  • Experience in healthcare technology or developing solutions for highly regulated industries.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML systems, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data engineering pipelines.
  • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
  • Passion for solving complex operational challenges in the healthcare domain.
