We are seeking a highly motivated ESG Domain Expert with a strong background in pre-sales to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles and have experience engaging with clients to provide solutions that meet their ESG needs. This role will be crucial in shaping our ESG offerings, driving growth, and ensuring our solutions align with client goals and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. ESG Expertise & Advisory:
Provide subject matter expertise on ESG trends, standards, and regulations (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
Advise clients on integrating ESG considerations into their business strategy, risk management, and reporting practices.
Keep up-to-date with the evolving global ESG landscape, including regulatory changes and investor expectations.
2. Pre-Sales Engagement:
Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand client ESG challenges and craft tailored solutions.
Conduct detailed demonstrations of ESG solutions and services to prospective clients.
Support RFP/RFI responses by providing ESG-specific insights, data, and content.
Assist in the development and customization of pre-sales materials such as presentations, brochures, and case studies.
3. Client Relationship Management:
Engage with senior stakeholders to understand their ESG goals, challenges, and opportunities.
Build long-term relationships with clients by consistently delivering value through ESG-related insights and solutions.
4. Solution Development:
Work with the product and technical teams to develop and enhance ESG service offerings.
Translate client ESG needs into actionable product features and service improvements.
Identify gaps in the market and propose new ESG solutions that can drive business growth.
5. Training & Enablement:
Provide training and upskilling for internal teams on ESG concepts, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Act as the go-to person within the organization for all ESG-related knowledge and updates.
6. Data Analysis & Reporting:
Support clients in collecting, analyzing, and reporting ESG data.
Leverage technology platforms for ESG reporting and sustainability management.
Interpret and present ESG data to clients, helping them make informed decisions based on insights.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background: Bachelorβs degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or related fields. A Masterβs degree or professional certifications in ESG or Sustainability is a plus.
Experience: 6-9 years of experience in the ESG domain, with at least 3-4 years in a client-facing pre-sales or consulting role.
Strong Knowledge: In-depth understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations.
Pre-sales Experience: Proven ability to support the sales cycle, engage with clients, and develop ESG-focused solutions.
Analytical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting ESG data and translating it into actionable business insights.
Communication & Presentation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ESG concepts to senior-level stakeholders.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, and technical teams to drive solutions forward.
Tech-Savvy: Experience working with ESG data platforms and technologies is highly desirable.
