Your challenge

As a People & Workplace Working Student, you’ll sit at the heart of Taxfix’s employee experience. This role combines hands-on involvement with our People Partnering and Learning & Development (L&D) functions, alongside being a key face of our Berlin office operations.

You’ll support strategic HR initiatives, contribute to leadership development and people experience efforts, while also helping maintain an organized, welcoming, and smoothly run office environment. Whether you’re coordinating internal events, managing meeting spaces, or greeting guests with a warm smile—you’ll be an essential presence on our People & Workplace team.

Your responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and new joiners to ensure a warm welcome to Taxfix.

• Handle deliveries, manage mail and post logistics, and oversee office access controls.

• Ensure communal spaces are tidy, fully stocked by our housekeeping team, and operating efficiently on a daily basis.

• Be the go-to person on the floor—spotting and resolving issues quickly, and escalating where needed.

• Support meeting room bookings and general office administration.

• Assist People Partners with documentation, coordination, and project tracking.

• Maintain and update internal knowledge hubs (e.g. Notion) with current content and guides.

• Help organize internal events and employee engagement initiatives.

• Contribute to the preparation of presentations, reports, and learning content for L&D programs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members across People Operations, IT, Talent Acquisition, and more.

Your profile

• You’re currently enrolled in university, ideally in a field related to Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Workplace Management.

• You enjoy being around people and have a service-minded, can-do attitude.

• You are highly organized, proactive, and comfortable balancing multiple tasks.

• You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; German is a plus.

• You’re tech-savvy, with experience in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and a curiosity about AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini.

• You’re reliable and take pride in keeping spaces functional and welcoming.

• Experience with Slack, Notion, or basic project coordination tools is a bonus.

• You’re excited to learn more about how people and culture shape modern workplaces.
