Overview

About the Role 

We are seeking a seasoned IT Technical Project Manager with a proven track record of managing and delivering complex technical projects related to Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. In this role, you will work closely with key stakeholders across departments to ensure successful project implementation, drive process improvements, manage change effectively, and align technology solutions with business needs. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in project management, change management, and stakeholder engagement, coupled with a deep understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

The Business Systems team sits within the Instacart Information Technology Department. We are dedicated to supporting critical business systems such as Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. We partner with other teams to ensure alignment across technical and business initiatives.

About the Job 

  • Partner with Customer Experience, Sales, and other departments to lead end-to-end project management for Salesforce and Genesys initiatives, including implementations, upgrades, integrations, and optimizations. 
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Customer Experience, Sales, and Finance teams) to align technology strategies with business goals.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics through collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure on-time, high-quality outcomes.
  • Oversee change management initiatives, including stakeholder communication, training, and adoption strategies, to drive the successful rollout of new technologies and processes.
  • Address roadblocks, mitigate risks, and proactively resolve issues to ensure project delivery aligns with stakeholder expectations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior management and teams across the organization to foster collaboration and transparency.
  • Ensure proper documentation of project assets such as requirements, charters, roadmaps, and lessons learned.
  • Stay updated on best practices and industry trends related to Salesforce, Genesys, and IT systems, and provide strategic recommendations for continual improvement.

About

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience leading technical projects as a Project Manager, preferably with a focus on business systems and customer-facing platforms.
  • Hands-on expertise with Salesforce and/or Genesys software (administration, configuration, or integrations).
  • Strong experience managing large-scale projects involving multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in change management, including managing communications and adoption strategies.
  • Skilled at creating and managing project plans, budgets, charters, and timelines independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Experience with Atlassian products like Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand system integrations and data flows.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on using data to drive decisions and measure project success.
  • Collaborative mindset with an ability to build trust and drive alignment across teams.
  • Effective and proactive communicator who can provide excellent customer service to all levels of employees, management, and vendors 
  • The ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and adapt quickly to shifting business priorities.

Instacart provides highly market-competitive compensation and benefits in each location where our employees work. This role is remote and the base pay range for a successful candidate is dependent on their permanent work location. Please review our Flex First remote work policy here. Currently, we are only hiring in the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia.

Offers may vary based on many factors, such as candidate experience and skills required for the role. Additionally, this role is eligible for a new hire equity grant as well as annual refresh grants. Please read more about our benefits offerings here.

For Canadian based candidates, the base pay ranges for a successful candidate are listed below.

CAN$149,000—$166,000 USD
