Job Description

The role

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our hardworking Customer Service team full-time. Reporting directly to the Customer Service Manager, your primary focus is to provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external conference customers, with an emphasis on timely, accurate and professional delivery. This role manages multiple competing priorities on a daily basis which means you will be a fast learner, agile, highly organised and have the ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate
  • Adhere to the duties and deadlines set out by procedures
  • Set-up of event information in the registration database
  • Accurately processing delegate registrations, payments, cancellation and communicate directly with clients by telephone or email, communicating effectively in a professional and timely manner
  • Listen and understand client requests, take ownership of queries and proactively follow through to resolution
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure smooth delegate registration process prior to and upon arrival at events
  • Ensure tasks are completed to the agreed standards of quality and within the agreed service levels – follow procedures and checklists

Qualifications

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – verbal and written
  • Exceptional multi-tasking, prioritisation, time management and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail • Computer literacy skills including the capacity to effectively use Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn with ability to show initiative
  • Previous administration experience would be an advantage • Previous SAP experience (preferable)
