As an Intern in Commercial & Business Development, you’ll be an integral part of our team, contributing directly to the development of first-of-a-kind climate tech projects. From building commercial partnerships and evaluating project business cases to executing market research and stakeholder analysis, you’ll gain first-hand experience at the intersection of strategy, project management, and deep tech commercialization.

How you’ll contribute

As a Logistics & Inventory Coordinator, you will play a key role in establishing and optimizing our material flow, storage systems, and logistics operations to support our growing production and deployment activities. You’ll work at the interlink between hardware engineering, supply chain operations and manufacturing, ensuring reliable supply, effective inventory tracking, and timely global shipments.

Specifically, you will…

  • Receive, inspect, store, and pre-commission raw materials, parts, hardware, and components to support manufacturing and R&D operations.

  • Verify incoming materials for quality compliance, quantity, correct part numbers, revision levels, and damage against documentation.

  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Management team to optimize our warehouse layout and inventory tracking system

  • Contribute to the development of an accurate internal labeling system based on Greenlyte’s part numbers

  • Improve inventory management tools (manufacturing execution system) to monitor stock levels and goods movement

  • Set up label printers, scanners to enable inventory traceability

  • Help develop efficient storage solutions and recommend improvements proactively.

  • Setup a shipping processes for our modulated DAC plants

Your first 12 months in the role: expectations and deliverables
Months 0-3

  • Learn Greenlyte’s technology, manufacturing and material flow processes
  • Verify and catalog existing materials inserting them into our digital inventory; identify and report any discrepanciesΒ 

  • Improve setup of an initial material labeling and storage system

  • Propose improvements for warehouse organization and layout

  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain, Engineering and Manufacturing teams to execute inventory and commissioning operations

Months 3-6

  • Take full ownership of incoming goods inspection and material issuing..

  • Start working on a scalable warehouse structure and support reorganization.

  • Collaborate with supply chain on shipment planning for components and hardware.

  • Introduce and monitor KPIs like stock accuracy and receiving lead times.

Months 6-12

  • Contribute actively to the improvement of a digital inventory management solution.

  • Support logistics setup for shipping plants.

  • Lead continuous improvement projects in storage and logistics processes.

  • Train colleagues on material handling standards and logistics tools.

  • Provide monthly reports on logistics performance and stock movement trends.

About you

We are looking for someone who is hands-on, structured, detail-oriented and enjoys building systems.

Basic qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or a related field in a manufacturing or hardware-focused environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to material handling and documentation.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, and manufacturing.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

Bonus qualifications

  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems in the context of supply chain and inventory.

  • Experience supporting international shipping logistics and customs procedures.

  • German language skills are a plus.

  • Knowledge in proper non-conformance checks
