Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Product Information Management (PIM) Specialist to assist in the management, transformation, and syndication of product data across various platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Systems Administrator to support product data entry, ensure information completeness, and handle syndication across customer channels and platforms, such as Salsify and Amazon Vendor Central. A solid understanding of each department’s roles and responsibilities within the organization is essential, as this role requires cross-department collaboration. Additionally, the candidate should have experience engineering workflows to improve company-wide efficiency. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel are a must, and experience with ERP systems is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing product information within Salsify, ensuring data completeness and accuracy.
  • Support the setup and maintenance of channels within Salsify to monitor and improve product information quality.
  • Transform product data for syndication across various customer systems (end points), ensuring compatibility with export formats.
  • Assist with the creation and editing of Digital Catalogs used by customers to learn about our products.
  • Help prepare and maintain product data for Amazon Vendor Central, including the creation of reports on account health and product performance.
  • Analyze Amazon confirmation rates and support the creation of recommendations for improving product availability and replenishment.
  • Troubleshoot product listing and performance issues on Amazon, working to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Systems Administrator and other teams, including the private label team, to ensure product data readiness for syndication.
  • Work with our new ERP system to streamline processes such as data uploads and downloads, and generate reports through generic inquiries.
  • Provide general administrative support related to product data and syndication tasks.
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of departmental roles and responsibilities across the organization, ensuring efficient communication and collaboration.
  • Engineer workflows and process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity across multiple departments.

Qualifications

  • Experience with Product Information Management Systems (e.g., Salsify) or a similar platform.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Vendor Central and related processes.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems (experience with generic inquiries a plus).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in engineering workflows to drive efficiency and productivity across the organization.
  • A solid understanding of departmental roles and their impact on product data management and syndication.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with digital catalogs and product syndication processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting product data issues on e-commerce platforms.
