Overview

We’re seeking a highly organized and proactive IT Tech Ops Manager to support the Head of Infrastructure and ensure the smooth execution of technology operations across the company. This role blends light technical know-how with operational coordination, vendor oversight, spend management, and administrative support. You’ll help keep infrastructure initiatives on track, support vendor relationships, manage costs, and handle essential day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight & Coordination

Β· Track ongoing IT infrastructure projects and recurring operational tasks to ensure deadlines and milestones are met.

Β· Coordinate across internal teams to ensure alignment on IT-related activities and support needs.

Β· Identify and help resolve delays or blockers in execution.

Β· Maintain calendars and schedules for system checks, patch cycles, and infrastructure team meetings.

Reporting, Metrics & Financial Oversight

Β· Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for infrastructure leadership and stakeholders.

Β· Gather and analyze internal operational metrics (e.g., ticket volumes, system uptime, project progress).

Β· Monitor infrastructure-related costs, track vendor and tool spend, assist in budgeting, and support forecasting in collaboration with the finance team.

Β· Create dashboards or summaries to visualize trends in both performance and cost.

Vendor Management (Light)

Β· Act as a liaison with third-party vendors for infrastructure services such as internet, cloud platforms, and backups.

Β· Track vendor contracts, renewal dates, pricing terms, and SLAs.

Β· Assist with vendor evaluations, performance tracking, and issue escalation as needed.

Administrative Support

Β· Manage renewals and licensing for IT services such as internet, domain registrations, SSL certificates, and software.

Β· Maintain internal documentation for systems, processes, and infrastructure inventories.

Β· Organize infrastructure team logistics, coordinate meetings, and follow up on assigned action items.

Qualifications

Β· 5+ years of experience in IT operations, technical coordination, or related roles.

Β· Familiarity with IT infrastructure concepts (e.g., networking, cloud services, systems monitoring).

Β· Experience with helpdesk management tools (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, Freshservice, Jira Service Management).

Β· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to both detail and deadlines.

Β· Skilled in tools like Jira, Confluence, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic reporting dashboards.

Β· Prior experience in a mid-sized or fast-scaling organization is preferred.
