Location Details: US Remote
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. Your leader is located in Pennsylvania and works remotely. Your team is mostly remote as well.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.
Join Our Team
The Workday HCM Technology team is at the head of managing and transforming our Workday platform to support the evolving business requirements. We are a part of the Corporate Technology team at GoDaddy and work closely in tandem with several of our peer groups in the HR, Engineering, Finance and IT teams. The team supports and manages all the global configurations for the in-scope Workday functional areas that include Core HCM, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, Absence, Payroll, Talent & Performance and Benefits.
We are looking for a Workday Systems Engineer who would be the functional lead and SME supporting our global HCM & Benefits configurations in Workday.
What you’ll get to do…
- Configure, maintain, and enhance Workday HCM & Global Benefits modules, including business processes, eligibility rules, enrollment events, custom reports, and integrations; lead and support cyclic projects such as Annual Open Enrollment and new implementations across multiple countries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business partners to gather requirements, prototype solutions, manage sprint activities, support UAT, resolve production issues, and provide end-user training, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational needs.
- Continuously monitor Workday releases, participate in industry forums, recommend process improvements, document configurations, and stay updated on emerging features to optimize system functionality and support business growth.
Your experience should include…
- 4+ years of experience in HCM and Benefits applications, including at least 2 years of hands-on Workday configuration (business processes, condition rules, calculated fields) with a focus on HCM & Benefits.
- Strong understanding of Workday’s Business Process and Security Framework, HCM & Benefits architecture, eligibility rules, enrollment processing, integrations, and basic custom report creation.
- Proficient in preparing/loading EIBs for mass transactions and possessing cross-functional experience with other Workday modules.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment, managing multiple projects and collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and solution architecture skills, with prior experience in functional or technical ERP implementation.
You might also have…
- Workday certification in one or multiple modules -core HCM/ Benefits.
- Experience with new implementations/global acquisitions and supporting the related setup in Workday.
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
