What you’ll do

Work with Python to query, analyse and explore transaction data
Support and improve our Categorisation Engine’s ML models (using SHAP values, CatBoost, scikit-learn)
Test out new technologies and tools to boost performance and uncover new insights
Build automation tools and features that make the team more efficient
Review data and suggest concrete improvements for different markets and use cases
Contribute to quarterly projects – from engine performance to developing new solutions
Collaborate closely with your teammates and stakeholders across the company
Document your work clearly so it can be reused and improved

What you bring to the team

You’re a registered student near one of our offices (Berlin or Munich)
First hands-on experience with Python and motivation to learn more
A proactive, can-do mindset and eagerness to take initiative
Structured, detail-oriented way of working and strong teamwork skills
Fluency in English, intermediate German skills minimum (other European languages are a plus)
Tech-savviness and curiosity to pick up new tools and topics quickly
Flexibility and adaptability to tackle new challenges
