THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Brand Communications Intern to help us keep Eventbrite at the center of cultural conversations. This role is hands-on—you’ll track trends, write and edit content, support media outreach, and contribute ideas to campaigns. You’ll learn the ins and outs of consumer PR, brand marketing, and data-driven storytelling while helping us highlight Eventbrite as the place for unique, shared experiences.

This position is remote and reports to the Senior Director, Brand & Consumer Communications

YOU WILL

  • Track cultural trends and spot opportunities for Eventbrite to join the conversation
  • Use platform data to identify event trends that can become media stories
  • Build and update media lists, research new journalists, and keep coverage organized
  • Draft press materials like pitches, releases, and blog posts
  • Support briefing books, trend reports, and brainstorming sessions
  • Help amplify brand campaigns and seasonal activations
  • Research industry and competitor trends to inform strategy
  • Collaborate with marketing, social, and content teams

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Completed a college degree (junior level or higher) in Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing, English, or similar
  • Previous internship or experience in PR, communications, or marketing
  • Available 30–40 hours per week during business hours

Skills & Attributes:

  • Basic understanding of communications, social media, PR, and/or marketing
  • Active on social media and tuned into cultural trends
  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and creative
  • Comfortable working independently and with a team
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, “make it happen” attitude

Bonus Points:

  • Canva and/or graphic design experience
  • Interest in the live events/experiences space
  • Understanding of Gen Z culture and digital habits

WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

  • Real-world experience in consumer PR and brand communications
  • Exposure to data-driven storytelling and trend analysis
  • Mentorship from seasoned communications pros
  • Cross-functional experience with marketing, social, and content teams
  • Portfolio-ready materials to showcase your work
  • Insight into the fast-changing live experiences industry

Ready to help shape the future of live experiences? We’re looking for someone who’s curious about culture, passionate about trends, and excited to help connect people through events.
