TITLE: VP, Product ManagementΒ
DEPARTMENT: Product

REPORTING TO: Chief Product OfficerΒ

OFFICE LOCATION: New York or LondonΒ

ROLE TYPE: Hybrid, Full-time

Overview of the Team Β

The Communications portfolio spans our cloud voice collaboration (VCOM), Devices (trader endpoints/turrets and related software), and adjacent innovations that extend IPC into new customer segments and use cases. You’ll lead a global product management team partnering closely with Engineering, UX, Program Management, Sales, Marketing, Services, Finance and Operations. Team members are primarily based in the US and EMEA with collaborators in APAC; we operate across time zones with US Eastern as a core overlap window and a high-trust, outcomes-first culture.Β

Role Overview:Β

This executive role owns the end-to-end vision, strategy, and execution for IPC’s Communications productsβ€”VCOM, Devices, and new marketsβ€”focused on expanding our Total Addressable Market (TAM) and accelerating ARR growth. You will set a bold multi-year roadmap, modernize our devices strategy, scale our cloud voice platform, and commercialize new offerings and partnerships. You will drive product-market fit, pricing & packaging, and go-to-market motions that land and expand across buy-side, sell-side, interdealer brokers, and adjacent regulated communications-intensive industries.Β

Key ResponsibilitiesΒ

  • Define the multi-year strategy and roadmap for VCOM and Devices, including platform evolution, endpoint strategy, compliance capabilities, and ecosystem integrations.
  • Lead a comprehensive TAM expansion program: market segmentation, opportunity sizing, competitive intelligence, pricing/packaging, and portfolio positioning.
  • Translate strategy into clear OKRs, investment cases, and portfolio plans; prioritize ruthlessly across build/improve/retire decisions.
  • Partner with Engineering and Program Management to deliver high-quality releases on time; drive platform reliability, performance, security and scale.
  • Evolve the Devices strategy (hardware/software): lifecycle management, firmware/OS roadmap, remote management, telemetry, and user experience improvements.
  • Build and deepen strategic integrations and partnerships (e.g., UC/CC platforms, recording/compliance, analytics, workflow tools, and cloud providers).
  • Own product commercialization: GTM strategy, launch excellence, enablement, sales plays, value frameworks, and customer success motions.
  • Establish a rigorous product discovery practice (qual & quant): customer research, CABs, design sprints, experiments, and data-informed decisions.
  • Drive regulatory and compliance readiness in collaboration with Legal/Risk (e.g., voice/e-comm capture, retention, surveillance, auditability).
  • Champion a high-performance product culture: talent development, coaching, operating cadence, and cross-functional alignment.Β

How You Will Make an Impact:Β Β

Your leadership will be measured by:Β

  • Growth: Net-new ARR, expansion ARR, and meaningful TAM unlock across prioritized segments and geographies.
  • Adoption: Active endpoints/users, attach/expansion rates, partner-led volume, and device fleet modernization.
  • Customer Outcomes: NPS/CSAT, support trends, time-to-value, and renewal/churn improvements.
  • Execution: On-time delivery to plan, quality/reliability KPIs, and portfolio ROI versus investment.
  • Team & Culture: Engagement scores, retention of top talent, diversity of pipeline, and health of product rituals.Β

Essential Skills and Experience to be Successful in this Role:Β

  • 12+ years in B2B Product Management with 5+ years leading Directors/PMs; proven VP-level scope across complex portfolios.
  • Domain expertise in cloud communications/real-time voice (e.g., SIP/RTP/WebRTC), endpoints/devices, and enterprise platforms.
  • Demonstrated success scaling SaaS communications products and expanding TAM via new segments, geographies, and channels.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen: P&L ownership, ARR unit economics, pricing & packaging, and portfolio management.
  • Deep collaboration skills with Engineering, Sales, Marketing and Operations; excellence in exec/board-level communication.
  • Customer-obsessed with strong product discovery toolkit (quant/qual research, experimentation, and analytics).
  • Security, reliability, and compliance mindset appropriate for regulated industries.Β

Desired Skills and Experience:Β

  • Capital markets or other highly regulated industries; trader voice/communications familiarity is a plus.
  • Experience modernizing hardware + software portfolios (embedded systems, device telemetry/observability, and fleet management).
  • Track record with platform ecosystems, APIs/SDKs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Knowledge of voice/e-comm capture, retention, surveillance, and audit/regulatory frameworks.
  • M&A assessment/integration experience; international product operations.Β

What’s in It for You?Β

  • Competitive Base Salaries
  • Private Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance and Optical Reimbursement
  • Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme
  • 25 Holidays per Year Plus Public Holidays
  • Additional Time off for Charity Work and Volunteering
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Certification Bonus Program
  • Access to β€œIPC University” our Internal E-Learning Platform
  • Enhanced Parental Leave
  • Wellness Program
