Job Overview:

APTIM’s Energy Transition team is seeking a Business Analyst, Data Solutions to assist with our growing portfolio of e-mobility, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and demand response programs across the country. The Business Analyst, Data Solutions will lead product support for Energy Transition team’s e-mobility and home electrification technology solutions, and related internal and client needs such as software and database migrations, environment configurations, technical documentation, etc.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with program management staff, internal IT staff as well as internal and external developers and partners to resolve technology issues, tickets and enhancement requests for external facing program software solutions; managing the software ticketing system for the e-mobility and home electrification technology solutions; maintaining service level agreements while effectively and efficiently resolving issues; supporting data, environment and software migrations as needed. The position will report to the Data Solutions Manager of the Energy Transition team.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Serve as Energy Transition’s lead on all issue and ticket management and resolution activities involved with e-mobility and home electrification program software solutions
  • Defining, documenting and following standard processes to ensure quality of implemented technology resolutions including solution definition, testing and pushing solutions successfully from lower environments into production.
  • Coordinate with the Corporate IT team as well as internal and external development firms to develop new solutions or adapt existing solutions to support client needs and business functions at effective costs.
  • Act as subject matter expert (SME) regarding product data structures, migrations, bug fixes and the advancement of BI objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse, multidisciplinary teams successfully and build collegial and collaborative team culture through direct and indirect leadership.
  • Highly motivated individual that can apply creative approaches to solving problems.
  • Support and work collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with all APTIM and client quality and safety policies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in management of technology solutions development. Particularly as a Business Analyst for a Microsoft Dynamics solution set.
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills with the ability to develop and deliver effective project materials and presentations.
  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment within the team and the broader organization.
  • Experience developing tools with a heavy focus on user architecture and the customer journey.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software — Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Power BI.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Must be a self-starter, organized and have an ability to manage competing priorities with tight deadlines
  • Strong written and oral communication skills and experience with client engagement.
  • Strong quantitative and analytic capabilities including memorandum writing and spreadsheet analysis.
  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment within the team and the broader. organization.
  • Ability to think critically to solve issues and provide resolutions.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, or similar certification or the desire to obtain.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
  • One or more years’ energy efficiency, DSM program experience and/or electric mobility space.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range for this position is $90.00 Per Hour. Compensation depends on several factors including: experience, education, key skills, geographic location of the position, client requirements, external market competitiveness, and internal equity among other employees within APTIM.
