Job Description

In this role, you will work as part of an agile development team, collaborating closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders. We work in iterative cycles that include refinement sessions, planning meetings, and retrospectives to continuously improve our process and product. You will work with GitLab, using feature branches for each User Story and synchronizing your work with the develop and master branches. Daily commits, CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/Jenkins), and merge requests reviewed by other team members are part of our standard workflow.

For local development and deployment of our microservices, we use Docker and Docker Compose. Communication and coordination within the team take place mainly through Microsoft Teams. You will collaborate with our UI/UX department to deliver applications with the best possible look and feel, ensuring a great user experience. Additionally, you will contribute to our internal NPM packages, helping build reusable components, design systems, and shared functionality across projects.

What you will do

  • Getting requirements about functionalities, developing and maintaining software features based on visual mockups and UX descriptions in scrum manner (sprints, grooming, planning, retrospective sesssions)
  • Working with the newest technologies, best practices and patterns in software development
  • Delivering high-quality code, which is both functional and performant
  • Writing tests
  • Code reviewing
  • Contributing to the infrastructure that the team leverages for development
  • Contributing in design of solutions with team members
  • Sharing knowledge with other developers

Working with microfrontends and microservices in multi-region environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience as JavaScript or Front-End Developer
  • Advanced understanding of JavaScript ES6/TypeScript
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience in work with or contribute to a JavaScript based build system (e.g., Babel, Webpack)
  • Experience with React ecosystem (React hooks)
  • Interest in testing, review and code quality
  • Familiar with Git
  • SOLID understanding of best practices, processes and design patterns
  • Open mind, contribution in discussions and good communication, especially inside of the team
  • Participation in designing solutions
  • Readiness to share knowledge and help team members
  • Self-reliance in daily work but also willingness for asking for help
  • Good English, both written and spoken

Nice to have:

  • Basics of linux, docker
  • familiarity with LLM-powered coding assistants
  • Experience with form libraries
  • Knowledge of Functional Programming and Object Oriented Programming
  • Ember

Additional Information

Please note that:

We are looking for candidates based in the Silesia region (office in Katowice), with a requirement to be present in the office at least 4 times a month. Fully remote work is not an option, and unfortunately, applications from more distant locations will not be considered in the recruitment process.
