In this role, you will lead the production of high-quality video content that resonates with our audience and amplifies our brand across various social media platforms. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire video production process, from ideation to final delivery, ensuring that each project is executed to the highest standard and aligns with our strategic goals. This role requires a deep understanding of social media best practices, creativity, and technical skills in videography.
We are deeply passionate about supporting our community of SME employers, HR professionals, payroll experts, industry partners, and employees. Our audience is core to our mission to make employment easier and more valuable for all, and you will need to demonstrate deep empathy when producing resources and campaigns for them. Experience working closely with designers and performance teams on bringing creative and bold campaigns to life will be important. The preferred location for the successful candidate is Sydney/Melbourne due to the need for on-site content capture.
Your key focus areas will be:
- End-to-End Video Production: Leading and managing the complete video lifecycle for social media, including planning, shooting, editing, and post-production, to create high-quality, engaging content.
- Creative and Technical Expertise: Utilizing high proficiency in videography, lighting, and editing (especially Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects) to produce polished content and drive creative innovation.
- Versatility (The “Preditor” Mindset): Operating as a multi-skilled producer, director, shooter, and editor, capable of switching between high-end studio quality and fast-turnaround, lo-fi social trends.
This will include the following:
- Lead Video Production: Manage end-to-end video production for social media, including planning, sourcing and managing talent, shooting, editing, and post-production.
- Content Creation: Creating high-quality, engaging content for various social media platforms, including written posts, images, videos, and other multimedia content.
- Videography: Planning, shooting, directing, and editing videos for social media, ensuring high production quality and alignment with our brand values.
- Technical Expertise: Utilise your expertise in videography, lighting, and editing to produce polished and professional content.
- Innovation with AI: Actively experimenting with emerging AI video and design technologies to streamline production times and create visual effects that set our brand apart from competitors.
- Creative Innovation: Bringing bold and innovative ideas to life, producing content that captures attention and drives engagement.
- Best Practices: Staying up-to-date with social media best practices and emerging trends, ensuring our social media strategy remains cutting-edge.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, performance marketers, and other content creators, to produce cohesive and impactful campaigns.

- The “Preditor” mindset: You are comfortable wearing all the hats – Producer, Director, Shooter, and Editor, capable of switching from shooting a polished Youtube video to editing a lo-fi TikTok trend on the fly. This includes high proficiency in videography, shooting, lighting, editing, and directing, with familiarity in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Storytelling and Innovation: A natural storyteller with a passion for creativity who always seeks to push boundaries, innovate, and elevate brand experiences through outstanding visual storytelling and impactful narratives.
- Strategic & Data-Driven Mindset: A strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into compelling creative solutions and a keen understanding of audience insights. You must operate at the intersection of creativity, data, and innovation, guiding creative output by testing new ideas, insights, and strategies.
- Social Media and Campaign Expertise: Deep understanding of social media best practices, trends, and platform-specific nuances, with proven experience across socially-led campaigns that have made a significant impact.
