The Government Affairs and Public Affairs team represents Stripe to governments, regulators, industry partners, and broader stakeholder audiences. We help the company understand and adapt to a changing global policy environment, anticipate and respond to challenges, and advocate for the needs of our users and the online economy. The team works closely with Policy Development, Legal, Communications, Marketing, and regional product and go-to-market teams to ensure coordinated, consistent engagement worldwide.

What you’ll do

Responsibilities

Support the development and execution of global public affairs strategies that advance Stripe’s policy and business objectives.
Coordinating with regional Government Affairs, Policy Development, Communications, and Marketing leads to adapt global narratives and campaigns for local markets, and to ensure we have meaningful data and proof points to support policy and advocacy efforts.
Execute external engagement activities, including outreach to policymakers, industry groups, and partner organizations, under senior direction.
Draft and maintain clear messaging, briefing materials, talking points, and short-form collateral for internal and external audiences.
Support the management of stakeholder relationships (e.g., trade associations, think tanks, NGOs, partner companies) and maintain stakeholder tracking.
Help organize events and convenings that bring Stripe leaders, users, and partners into policy conversations.
Support measurement and reporting of global public affairs activities and contribute to team processes and project management.

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €102,100 – €153,100. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
