Sample interview questions
Describe a demand-generation program you built that materially increased qualified pipeline.

I would explain the initial funnel baseline, ICP, channel mix, and target metric, then describe the experiments and operating cadence used to improve performance. A strong answer should quantify outcomes such as pipeline created, SQL conversion, CAC, payback period, and time to impact.

How would you prioritize marketing channels for Anagram's SMB audience in your first 90 days?

I would begin with customer, win-loss, and funnel analysis to validate the ICP, buying triggers, and highest-converting segments. I would then prioritize measurable channels with fast feedback loops—such as paid search, lifecycle activation, landing-page improvements, and targeted webinars—while establishing clear CAC, conversion, and pipeline targets.

How do you improve conversion from website visitor through closed-won revenue?

I map the complete journey, establish conversion benchmarks at each stage, and identify the largest volume or quality constraint. I then run focused tests across traffic targeting, landing-page messaging, forms, nurture paths, sales handoff, and offer design, measuring both immediate conversion gains and downstream pipeline quality.

How do you partner with Sales and Product to develop effective positioning?

I create a regular feedback loop using call recordings, objection analysis, customer interviews, win-loss data, and product usage insights. I turn those findings into concise messaging, proof points, sales enablement, and campaign assets, then validate the message through conversion and sales-cycle results.

What metrics would you report weekly to leadership for this role?

I would report pipeline created and sourced, revenue contribution, spend, CAC, payback, lead-to-SQL and SQL-to-win conversion, channel performance, and experiment results. I would pair the dashboard with a short narrative on what changed, why it changed, and the next actions required.
