Sample interview questions
How would you ensure an existing training deck follows a lesson plan and remains consistent with Bundle's design standards?

I would begin by reviewing the lesson plan, template, and any brand or accessibility guidelines. I would use a structured QA checklist to verify learning objectives, slide sequence, facilitator instructions, formatting, typography, visual consistency, and learner activities. Before delivery, I would conduct a final slide-by-slide review and document any content questions or deviations for the learning design team.

How do adult-learning principles influence the way you edit or format corporate training materials?

Adult learners need relevant, practical, and immediately applicable content. I would make sure materials clearly connect activities to workplace situations, use concise language, avoid unnecessary information, and support reflection, discussion, and practice. I would also preserve logical flow so learners understand why a topic matters before being asked to apply it.

Describe how you would use Claude or Microsoft Copilot responsibly in an instructional design workflow.

I would use AI to accelerate tasks such as drafting alternative wording, summarizing source material, checking consistency, generating review checklists, or suggesting learner-specific examples. I would not rely on AI output without verification; I would validate accuracy, alignment with the lesson plan, tone, accessibility, and confidentiality requirements. Final instructional and quality decisions would remain mine and the design team's.

A stakeholder requests a learner-specific version of a workshop with a short turnaround. What is your approach?

I would first confirm the audience, required changes, deadline, source materials, and approval process. Then I would identify which elements can be tailored safely, such as examples, terminology, scenarios, and visual references, while protecting the core learning objectives and session flow. I would work from the approved template, complete a focused QA review, and flag any requests that could weaken the instructional design.

How do you stay organized when managing multiple versions of PowerPoint files, resources, and feedback?

I use clear naming conventions, version dates, centralized folders, and a tracker that records the owner, status, due date, and approval stage for each asset. In SharePoint, I would follow team permissions and version-control practices to prevent duplicate or outdated files. I also keep a concise change log so reviewers can quickly understand what was updated and why.
