Sample interview questions
How do you manage multiple implementation projects with competing deadlines and priorities?

I establish a portfolio-level view of milestones, dependencies, capacity, risks, and client commitments. I use standardized project plans and status reporting, review priorities regularly with stakeholders, and escalate trade-offs early when scope, timing, or resources conflict.

Describe how you translate client requirements into an implementation plan.

I begin with discovery sessions to confirm business goals, users, workflows, technical constraints, and success criteria. I document requirements, validate them with the client and internal delivery teams, convert them into scoped workstreams and milestones, and maintain change control for any material updates.

What is your approach to managing risks in a technical integration project?

I identify risks during discovery and technical-readiness reviews, assess probability and impact, assign owners, and record mitigation actions in a risk register. I communicate material risks clearly in status meetings and ensure decisions, dependencies, and contingency plans are documented.

How would you handle a client whose expectations exceed the agreed project scope?

I would first acknowledge the underlying business need and clarify the requested outcome. I would compare it with the approved scope, explain impacts on timeline, cost, and resources, then present viable options such as a formal change request, phased delivery, or an alternative configuration.

How have you used automation or AI tools to improve project delivery?

I use them to reduce administrative effort in areas such as meeting summaries, action tracking, schedule analysis, risk-pattern identification, and draft status reporting. I validate outputs against project data and professional judgment, ensuring that automated insights support rather than replace accountable project decisions.
