Sample interview questions
How do you prioritize inbound leads alongside outbound prospecting responsibilities?

I first assess inbound leads using fit, urgency, engagement, and potential business value, then set clear follow-up SLAs. I reserve protected blocks for outbound work so inbound activity does not eliminate proactive pipeline generation, and I use CRM data to adjust priorities daily.

Describe how you would create an outbound strategy for a new Japanese territory.

I would define the ideal customer profile, identify relevant industries and buyer personas such as IT, security, and device-management stakeholders, and build targeted account lists. I would test messaging across phone, email, and social channels, track response and conversion metrics in Salesforce, and refine the approach based on results and feedback from account executives.

How do you qualify whether a prospect should be passed to an inside or field sales representative?

I confirm the prospect's business challenge, Apple device environment, decision-making process, timeline, and next step, while assessing fit against the ideal customer profile. I document these details clearly in Salesforce and provide the receiving representative with concise context so the handoff is actionable.

How would you explain Jamf's value to a non-technical business stakeholder?

I would focus on outcomes rather than product features: Jamf helps organizations deploy, manage, and secure Apple devices efficiently, reducing manual IT work and helping protect company data. I would then ask questions about their current device-management process and connect the value to their specific operational or security priorities.

Tell us about a time you improved your sales outreach process using data.

In a prior role, I reviewed activity and conversion data by segment, channel, and message type to identify where prospects were responding most often. I adjusted targeting and call/email sequences based on those findings, shared the learning with the team, and continued measuring results to ensure the change improved qualified-opportunity creation.
