Sample interview questions
Describe a strategic technology partnership you developed from initial relationship building through measurable business results.

I would explain the partner context, shared customer or market problem, and the executive stakeholders involved. I would then outline the joint business plan, product or GTM workstreams, governance cadence, and KPIs, finishing with quantified results such as sourced pipeline, influenced revenue, integration adoption, or retention impact.

How do you influence Product and Engineering priorities when you do not have direct authority over their roadmaps?

I build a fact-based case that connects partner requests to customer demand, strategic differentiation, revenue potential, implementation effort, and risk. I involve product and engineering leaders early, clarify trade-offs, and establish shared success measures so the work is treated as a company priority rather than solely a partner request.

How would you create a joint GTM strategy with a partner such as AWS, Salesforce, or Adobe?

I would begin by identifying overlapping target accounts, priority use cases, and a clear combined value proposition. Next, I would define joint solution messaging, sales plays, field enablement, marketing activities, account ownership, pipeline attribution, and an executive operating cadence to review results and remove blockers.

What makes an executive business review effective for a strategic partner?

An effective EBR is forward-looking, concise, and grounded in jointly agreed metrics. It should cover business outcomes, customer wins, pipeline, product or integration progress, strategic risks, decisions required from leaders, and a small number of committed next-quarter priorities with accountable owners.

How do you assess whether an emerging AI or integration opportunity is worth pursuing with a partner?

I evaluate customer demand, strategic fit, differentiation, technical feasibility, security and data considerations, commercial potential, partner commitment, and time to value. I would recommend a staged approach, often beginning with a validated use case or pilot, before investing in a broader integration and GTM launch.
