Sample interview questions
How would you build a strategic engagement plan for a new AI lab using Supabase?

I would first map decision-makers and technical champions across engineering, product, platform, and developer relations. Next, I would identify high-value workloads and define a joint technical roadmap with measurable adoption, integration, and business outcomes. I would establish a regular operating cadence of enablement sessions, technical reviews, and executive checkpoints.

Describe how you have taken a technical integration from concept through post-launch growth.

I begin by validating the customer problem, architecture, success metrics, and ownership model with all stakeholders. During delivery, I maintain a clear decision log and feedback loop with engineering and product teams. After launch, I monitor usage and qualitative feedback, address adoption blockers, and turn successful patterns into repeatable playbooks.

How do you maintain technical credibility while coordinating teams with different priorities?

I stay close to the architecture, constraints, and developer experience so that I can communicate trade-offs accurately. I translate technical details into outcomes relevant to each function, such as adoption for product, reliability for engineering, and expansion potential for commercial teams. Shared metrics and explicit owners help keep priorities aligned.

What metrics would you use in a quarterly technical review with an AI lab?

I would review active developers, production workloads, feature adoption, performance and reliability indicators, support themes, integration milestones, and roadmap dependencies. I would pair quantitative data with customer feedback to distinguish usage from real value. The review would conclude with agreed actions, owners, and target dates.

How would you operate effectively in a role with little existing process?

I would establish lightweight mechanisms that create clarity without slowing execution, including account plans, stakeholder maps, outcome metrics, and a regular cross-functional cadence. I would test the process with an initial set of accounts, gather feedback, and standardize only what demonstrably improves outcomes. This preserves speed while making successful practices scalable.
