About this role.
CentralReach seeks an Implementation Manager II to lead moderately complex SaaS EMR deployments for ABA, therapy, and special-education customers. It requires cross-functional project leadership, strong customer communication, process documentation, and quality and regulatory awareness. The manager will also serve as an EMR product subject-matter expert, contribute to continuous improvement, and mentor junior implementation staff. The position is hybrid in Holmdel, New Jersey or Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with remote consideration for candidates in other U.S. states.

Sample interview questions
I would begin with discovery to confirm goals, workflows, stakeholders, scope, risks, and success criteria. I would convert those findings into a phased project plan covering configuration, data and integration activities, testing, training, go-live readiness, and hypercare, while using regular status reporting and decision logs to maintain alignment.
I first clarify the underlying business need and determine whether standard configuration can meet it. If customization is necessary, I document the requirement, assess effort, dependencies, risk, and impact on the agreed timeline, then present clear options and obtain formal approval before changing the delivery plan.
I establish technical owners, interface requirements, data mappings, security expectations, test cases, milestones, and escalation paths early. I track dependencies closely, validate data through staged testing, document defects and resolutions, and ensure the customer understands any operational changes before go-live.
I tailor training to each user group’s daily workflows and focus on practical, role-based scenarios rather than product features alone. I combine live demonstrations, guided exercises, reference materials, and knowledge checks, then use feedback and post-training support to address adoption gaps.
I would run a structured retrospective using project metrics, customer feedback, team observations, and issue trends. I would identify root causes, prioritize practical improvements such as templates, configuration checklists, or readiness criteria, assign ownership, and measure whether the changes improve future delivery outcomes.
