This is an early-career Brand KOL business-development internship within Binance’s Accelerator Program. The intern will identify and engage key opinion leaders (KOLs), support influencer events, maintain professional partner communications, and report on KOL activity and public sentiment. The role also supports crisis communications and coordinates KOL strategy with broader brand and PR goals. It is suited to final-year students or recent graduates in communications, marketing, public relations, or related disciplines. Strong English, relationship-building ability, confidence at events, and comfort in a fast-moving crypto environment are central to success.

I would define the campaign objective and target audience first, then assess potential KOLs for audience relevance, engagement quality, credibility, content style, brand-safety history, and alignment with Binance’s values. I would document the evaluation criteria and recommend a balanced shortlist based on both qualitative fit and measurable reach.
I would communicate expectations, timelines, deliverables, and key messages clearly from the beginning. I would be responsive, respectful of the KOL’s perspective, keep accurate follow-up notes, and proactively share updates so that issues can be addressed before they affect the partnership.
I would quickly gather the relevant facts, monitor the sentiment and scale of the issue, and escalate it through the appropriate internal communications process. Afterward, I would summarize results, identify lessons learned, and recommend improvements for future collaborations.

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Brand KOL BD individuals to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a young, fresh graduate with strong communication skills to gain hands-on experience in public relations and influencer management within the fast-paced crypto industry.
As a Brand KOL BD member, you will assist in building and maintaining relationships with KOLs, support event coordination, and help manage communications during critical situations. You will be the face of our brand at KOL events and play a key role in ensuring smooth collaboration and positive public perception.

Responsibilities:
Assist in identifying and engaging KOLs aligned with our brand values.
Support the Brand team in organizing and attending KOL events, meetings, and networking activities.
Act as a liaison between the company and KOLs, ensuring timely and professional communication.
Help manage crisis communications and support resolution efforts with KOLs during sensitive situations.
Prepare and deliver clear, concise updates and reports on KOL activities and public sentiment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align KOL strategies with overall PR goals.
Maintain a professional and presentable image as a representative of the company.
Requirements:
Recent graduate or final-year student in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields.
Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages would be an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships.
Presentable, confident, and comfortable attending events and engaging with influencers.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in the crypto/blockchain industry is a plus but not mandatory.
Ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally.
