About this role.
This is a 3–6 month early-career internship supporting VIP/key-account operations for Binance’s digital-asset trading products. The intern will respond to client requests, maintain account records, monitor trading and engagement activity, and coordinate issue resolution with internal Product, Compliance, Risk, and Operations teams. The role requires foundational knowledge of crypto-market concepts such as spot, futures, margin, leverage, liquidity, and maker/taker mechanics, along with strong spreadsheet skills. English and Mandarin fluency are required for coordination with overseas stakeholders. It is a highly responsive, fast-paced role emphasizing ownership, analytical curiosity, and professional client service.

I would avoid making assumptions, document the case clearly, and coordinate with the appropriate Operations, Risk, or Product teams while providing the client with timely status updates until resolution.
Spot trading involves buying or selling the underlying asset for immediate settlement. Margin trading uses borrowed funds to increase exposure and introduces borrowing costs and liquidation risk. Futures are derivative contracts that provide exposure to an asset’s price, often with leverage, without necessarily owning the underlying asset.
I would look for sharp changes in trading volume, frequency, leverage usage, asset preferences, order behavior, withdrawal patterns, or engagement compared with the client’s historical baseline. I would validate the data, consider market-wide events, and escalate observations according to applicable procedures rather than drawing unsupported conclusions.
I would assess urgency, client impact, risk implications, and any time-sensitive trading or account restrictions. I would address critical or risk-related cases first, acknowledge all requests quickly, maintain clear tracking notes, and escalate or delegate where needed so no issue loses ownership.
I can communicate accurately and professionally with stakeholders across both language groups, helping reduce misunderstandings in client requests, product explanations, and internal coordination. I would ensure key case details and follow-up actions are documented clearly so that teams have consistent context regardless of language.

Job Description
- Support the team in handling day-to-day VIP client requests, follow-ups, and basic account/product enquiries with a high level of responsiveness and professionalism.
- Build positive relationships with assigned clients and gradually develop an understanding of their trading activities, preferences, and business needs.
- Take ownership of client issues, investigate the root cause, and coordinate with Product, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and other teams to drive issues toward resolution.
- Monitor client activity, trading behaviour, and engagement data using spreadsheets or internal tools to identify unusual trends, client needs, and potential opportunities.
- Maintain accurate client profiles, communication records, follow-up actions, and account information to ensure proper coverage and continuity within the team.
- Develop a strong working knowledge of Binance products—including Spot, Futures, Margin, Options, Earn and OTC—and understand how different types of trading clients use these products.
- Track relevant crypto, trading, and competitor developments and share useful observations or market intelligence with the team.
- Demonstrate a hardcore, self-driven attitude: learn quickly, take ownership without constant supervision, stay highly responsive, and proactively identify ways to improve client service and team operations.
Job Requirements
- Strong interest and basic knowledge in crypto + financial markets.
- Understand basic concepts such as Spot, Futures, Margin, leverage, liquidity, maker/taker.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical ability and comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets.
- Demonstrates personal curiosity about trading—ideally actively follows or trades financial markets.
- Fast learner and proactive, hungry for knowledge and who can absorb Binance products quickly.
- Strong ownership, responsiveness and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
