Sample interview questions
How would you balance hands-on support for strategic opportunities with developing an autonomous Solutions Consulting team?

I would establish clear engagement criteria for executive and high-risk deals, while defining ownership expectations for solution consultants. Through regular coaching, deal reviews, reusable playbooks, and post-mortems, I would build the team’s ability to lead standard and increasingly complex opportunities independently.

Describe how you would partner with an EMEA General Manager to improve regional go-to-market execution.

I would align on revenue priorities, target segments, pipeline health, and account coverage in a regular operating cadence. I would then translate those priorities into SC capacity plans, enablement needs, executive-deal support, and structured feedback for Product and Delivery.

How do you communicate the value of a financial-crime platform to both technical and executive banking stakeholders?

I tailor the narrative to the audience while maintaining one value framework. For executives, I focus on fraud-loss reduction, regulatory risk, operational efficiency, and customer trust; for technical stakeholders, I address data, integrations, model performance, controls, and implementation feasibility.

What metrics would you use to manage a regional Solutions Consulting organization?

I would track win rate and stage conversion for SC-supported deals, resource utilization, time to proposal or RFP response, proof-of-value outcomes, sales-cycle impact, onboarding readiness, and stakeholder feedback. I would pair quantitative measures with deal-quality reviews to avoid optimizing for volume alone.

Tell us how you would handle a resource conflict when several important opportunities require the same subject-matter expertise.

I would assess each opportunity against revenue potential, strategic importance, close timing, solution complexity, and risk. I would transparently prioritize coverage with Sales leadership, use reusable assets or peer support where possible, and identify longer-term enablement actions to reduce single-expert dependency.
