Sample interview questions
I begin by defining the ICP and identifying the relevant decision-makers, business priorities, and likely pain points. I build a concise call hypothesis, prepare role-specific opening questions, and use a structured cadence across phone, email, and LinkedIn. I then review call outcomes regularly to refine messaging and targeting.
I would use AI to accelerate account research, summarize company news, identify possible initiatives, and draft initial messaging angles. Before outreach, I would validate the information using trusted sources and customize the message around the prospect’s role, likely priorities, and relevant trigger events. AI should improve efficiency, while the final outreach remains accurate and human.
I treat rejection as data rather than a personal setback. I track common objections, identify patterns by segment or persona, and test improvements to my opener, positioning, and follow-up timing. Maintaining activity discipline and focusing on controllable inputs helps me stay consistent.
I would confirm that the contact has relevant responsibility or influence, a potential need connected to the offering, and sufficient interest to explore the issue further. I would also capture their current environment, initiatives, timeline, stakeholders, and any key challenges so the account executive has useful context for the meeting.
I would align on target personas, messaging priorities, meeting qualification criteria, and feedback cadence before starting outreach. I would follow the playbook while documenting outcomes, objections, and account intelligence in the CRM or agreed workflow. Regular feedback from the account executive would help me improve meeting quality and adjust tactics quickly.
