Sample interview questions
I would begin by clarifying the business objective and baseline metrics, then synthesize stakeholder input and data into a small set of testable hypotheses. After developing a business case and implementation plan, I would align owners, milestones, and decision points, track leading and lagging indicators, and communicate results and recommended next steps to leadership.
I would segment partners by performance, service category, geography, funnel conversion, capacity, and unit economics to isolate meaningful differences. I would pair that analysis with direct partner and internal-operations research, prioritize opportunities by expected impact and feasibility, and test the most promising interventions before scaling them.
I make the shared customer and business outcome explicit, document the evidence behind the recommendation, and involve key partners early in solution design. I use clear decision rights, milestone plans, and concise status updates to surface trade-offs quickly and maintain accountability.
I would lead with the decision required, the recommended action, and expected impact rather than the underlying detail. I would support that recommendation with a concise narrative, a few decision-relevant metrics, key risks and assumptions, and an appendix that allows leaders to inspect the analysis if needed.
I would use tools such as Gemini or Claude to accelerate synthesis of approved datasets, meeting notes, and research themes, while validating outputs against source data and protecting confidential partner information. The tools would support faster drafting and pattern discovery, but I would retain ownership of the analytical logic, recommendations, and stakeholder communication.
